A Pin Torx Driver Bit (Also known as a Security Torx Bit) is used for driving security Torx Screws, which are a variation of standard Torx Screws but with a small pin in the center of the screw head. Standard Torx Bits will NOT fit Pin Torx style screws due to the accomodation for the center pin.
